Cartoon Connection Korea



Next stop, our CEO will probably be heading to Korea. Jeju Island. A beautiful island and a great opportunity for Asians to meet the Europeans Producers. 

This is like a speed business dating event. Every 30 mins one meeting with a producers. A gong is the start of the meeting. Another gong is where it ends. Then you switch tables. No time is wasted.

Bios of Skeel Lee: 


Skeel is a Technical Director / R&D Programmer in the visual effects industry, with experience working on FX, lighting and pipeline on feature films. He has worked on films such as X-Men: Days of Future Past, Pacific Rim, Captain America: The First Avenger, Iron Man 2 and Sherlock Holmes, amongst others. 

He was most recently Senior FX Technical Director at Moving Picture Company (MPC) in Montreal. Before that, he was FX Technical Director at Lucasfilm / Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) in Singapore, and Technical Director / R&D Programmer at Double Negative in London and Singapore. 

 He graduated from a technical education which involved computer graphics and real-time games programming. Outside of work, he has done a variety of FX simulation programming, including an open-source real-time WebGL fluid simulator and a soft body programming tutorial which won several international awards.

Aaron Lin is the art director of Zealot Singapore and an adjunct lecturer in NYP. He has been a Lead 3D environment game artist for 8 years in Zealot Digital Taiwan and then in their Singapore office. Before that, he was working in Koei Japan for 2 years.

Lesly will be teaching Advance Body Mechanics, Acting, Production Tips and Tricks etc. He will also focus in helping those who just graduated in improving their portfolio.

Lesly Timmer is one of Tiny Island's Animation Supervisor. He has close to 6 years of production experience. For the last 6 years, he has worked on both animated TV series and feature film. He was one of the key animator for Award Winning Ben 10 Destroy All Aliens and Dream Defenders. He is currently working on G Fighter, a Korean animated TV series.

New Course Alert! WSQ Digital Sculpting with Charlie Kim

Charlie Kim is a Senior Modeler with Lucasfilm Animation, developing 3d assets for feature animation and live action movie projects, which includes Transformer 4 (2014). Previously, he was a senior character artist with LucasArts Singapore, responsible for building 3d models for main characters and texturing for game assets. He also has vast experience as a concept artist, and has strong illustration and painting skills.
