Workshop on IP

For the last 10 years, Singapore has been focusing on building its animation production workforce. Moving forward, its important for us to nurture animation business leadership in IP creation to bring Singapore to the next 10 years.

Objective:
To help indie producers to move into the area of IP creations.
To help individuals acquire business knowledge in animation.

We will be sharing our experience and knowledge in how we manage to bring a Singapore Created IP to the world stage.

The workshop will have lectures and brainstorming / case study sessions.

For those who has an IP, we will be happy to offer you free consultation.

We are planning to set up an entity later to represent good IP in the West. We hope to introduce them to distributors and broadcasters. Hopefully this will help you expand your IP further.

The course will be divided into Part One and Two.

We will start with Part One first.

Course Outcome:
By the end of the module, students will have gained a stronger
understanding of the animation market as well as the steps needed to
bring an IP from development to monetization.
